Last updated: 14 October 2026

Root & Whisk makes modern wooden kitchenware in Egypt. This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or place an order, why we need it, and how we look after it. We follow Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).

What we collect

We do not take card payments on this website. You pay on delivery, so we never receive or store your card details.

Why we use it

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We will only send you marketing messages if you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Only the people who need it to complete your order: our delivery partner receives your name, phone number and address. Our website host stores the website’s data on our behalf. We may share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We only use essential cookies: small files that remember what is in your cart, keep you signed in to your account, remember your language choice and remember that you have seen our cookie notice. The website does not work properly without them. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we ever add them, we will ask for your permission first.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as Egyptian tax and accounting rules require. Unfinished, failed or cancelled orders are deleted automatically after a few months. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (except records we must keep by law). You can also withdraw any permission you gave us. Contact us using the details below and we will reply as soon as we can.

How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, access to our order records is limited to our team, and we keep the website and its software up to date.
