Modern wooden kitchenware · Made in Egypt
Rooted in Craft.
Whisked into Life.
Good tools disappear into the cooking.
Wood is warm in the hand, gentle on your pans and kind to the table. Root & Whisk shapes it into modern pieces you reach for every day, from the first coffee to the last plate.
How a piece comes to be
Timber to table.

01
Timber
It starts with solid wood. Every board carries its own grain, so no two pieces are quite alike.

02
Shaping
Cut, shaped and sanded by hand until every edge feels right in your grip.

03
Finishing
A food-safe finish brings out the grain and readies the wood for daily use.

04
At the table
Then it’s yours. Breakfast in bed, a film on the sofa, one more cup. The wood takes it all in.

The Signature Tray
Everything, in its place.
A tray shaped around the way you actually eat: a place for every plate, your phone and your cup, so a slow morning stays slow.
A slot for your phone
Stand it upright for the news, a recipe or a film.
Wells for the little things
Beans, berries or nuts each keep to their own place.
Room for the main plate
A wide, shallow space for eggs, toast or pastries.
A rest for your mug
A round recess keeps your cup steady as you carry it.
Your kitchen, block by block.
Start with one piece. New ones take their place on the board as they’re ready.
Simple to order.

Are these the final product photos?
The images are design previews of our pieces. Wood is natural, so the grain and tone of yours will differ a little from what you see here.
How do I look after wood?
Wash by hand in warm, soapy water and dry it straight away. Keep it out of the dishwasher and long soaks, and rub in a little food-safe oil when it starts to look dry.
